What are some of your favorite places to visit in and around Vancouver?
My favorite neighborhoods in Vancouver are the West End and Commercial Drive. Walking through the West End evokes such pleasant emotions and feelings for me. I often wish I could capture the essence of the West End and carry it with me wherever I go.
Tell us about one of the best places you’ve traveled to and where you’d like to go next.
There are so many places I look forward to exploring, such as South America and the Far East. One of my favorite trips was to Turkey, where I fell in love with the country’s culture, people, and traditions.
What advice do you have for students who are new to learning English?
Focus on mastering the fundamentals, especially grammar and verb tenses. Dedicate time daily to reading about topics you enjoy, looking up new vocabulary, and creating sentences to reinforce your learning. Watching films can also be a fun way to learn—use English subtitles, and pause to note down new words or phrases. This method is incredibly effective for improving your language skills.
